I work as a consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon, with extensive operative experience in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery and Multidisciplinary management of breast cancer. I do simple and oncoplastic breast procedures including mastectomy, axillary clearance, wide local excision, sentinel node biopsy, image localized excisions, diagnostic breast excisions, various types of therapeutic mammoplasty, intercostal perforator flap surgery, skin sparing mastectomy, dermal sling / acellular dermal matrix assisted implant reconstructions. My special interest is intercostal perforator flap partial reconstruction leading our unit’s Lipofilling service for breast volume defects post breast surgery and radiotherapy. My other activities include regular Screening clinic, Breast One stop and follow up clinics, weekly MDT meetings, monthly consultant management meetings, and quarterly Breast Focus Group meetings. With the experience in medical education, I also have the role of Trust CESR/Portfolio pathway lead at University Hospital Southampton.
