Dr Neeraj Rastogi is currently the Director of Radiation Oncology at Medanta Hospital, Lucknow since Aug-2024. He retired as a Professor of Radiation Oncology from the prestigious Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow and has over 35 years of clinical experience in treating all types of cancers. He has done MBBS & MD(Radiation Oncology) from King George's Medical College, Lucknow. He has done Senior Residency from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and SGPGIMS, Lucknow. During his career at SGPGIMS he has trained and supervised several post-graduate Radiation Oncology Residents and supervised their thesis. During his career he has received several awards (World GI Congress Barcelona, Asian Clinical Oncology Society -ACOS Korea, International Association of Surgeons Gastroenterologists Oncologists- IASGO Vienna, ACOS Philippines & IASGO Egypt) and Fellowships (Johannesburg General Hospital South Africa, University of Stanford San Francisco & Memorial Care Hospital Long Beach USA) to his credit. He has been invited to as a guest faculty and delivered over 90 guest lectures at International and National meetings on several topics. His research interests are in the fields of Gastrointestinal, Hepatobiliary, Genitourinary Oncology; Intraluminal brachytherapy in biliary tree; Chemoradiation protocols in locally advanced head and neck cancers and Intensity modulated Radiation Therapy and Image Guided Radiation Therapy in cancer of prostate. He has over 40 publications to his credit.
