Dr. Meenakshi Mittal is at present working as the Director, Dept. of Radiation Oncology at Livasa Hospital, Chandigarh Region, India. A graduate from Government Medical College Jammu she did her Radiation Oncology PG DNB training from MD Oswal Cancer Treatment & Research foundation, Ludhiana in 2002. After gaining vast and invaluable experience there, she pursued an AROI fellowship in Pittsburgh, USA in 2010 to refine her skills in advanced External Beam Radiotherapy treatment and Brachytherapy. At present she is an active member of the Executive Committee of Association of Radiation Oncologists of India, North Zone as its Treasurer. Her areas of interest include Public Education & Cancer awareness Management of Breast Cancer, Prostate Cancer and Head & Neck Cancers and Management of side effects and improving quality of life of patients.
